2. Document & File Handling
- 100% Local Processing: All PDF documents, technical blueprints, and vector annotations remain entirely on your local machine.
- No Cloud Uploads: The application does not upload, store, or transmit your files or drawing data to external cloud servers or databases.
- Round-trip storage: Comments are burned into the PDF (visible in any viewer) and also embedded as editable data inside the same file, so they re-open fully editable in RENiX.
3. Technology & Third-Party Libraries
The core rendering and editing engines — Mozilla PDF.js, Konva.js, and pdf-lib — operate locally on your device via client-side serialization and web workers. They do not collect or transmit tracking data or personal information.
4. User Accounts & Data Collection
- Guest Mode: No user account or registration is required. There is no login procedure and no cloud-save option — everything stays on your computer.
- No analytics/telemetry: The app does not track usage or collect personal information.

- Linear dimensions with editable text, Ortho (10°) snapping, grouping, copy/paste, multi-PDF tabs, and sheet management (reorder, delete, extract, add from file).
- Inline on-canvas text editing and crisp high-DPI zoom.
6. Performance & Capacity
Annotations render live on your device, so performance depends on your computer:
- Up to ~1,500 comments: fast and smooth.
- ~3,000 and above: speed depends on your computer's capacity (CPU/RAM) and may become slower to edit and save.

- Windows with the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime installed.
- Sufficient RAM for large drawings and high comment counts.
